SKATE SCHOOL UPDATE 2012

All schools will continue in 2012 starting with our first session of 2012: Hucknall on January 3rd. Nise have also been given the go ahed to start our newest school @ Kimberley leisure centre. Please watch this space for opening dates and times.

SKATE SCHOOLS OVER THE FESTIVE SEASON:

This coming Saturday is the last session @ Southglade until January 7th as the team will be resting their legs for the festive season. All other schools will be running with the exception of our Hucknall school on Friday 30th December.

WINTER WONDERLAND PROGRESS!

Well Nottingham winter is now in full swing and God damn is it cold, however do not despair we at Nise HQ are continuing to grow our indoor sessions across our great city so that indoor sanctuary can be sourced.

If your cold then get involved, our mobile skate park can be found at the following locations:

Tuesdays: Hucknall Leisure Centre 5pm - 6pm
Thursdays: Harvey Hadden Sports Complex 7.30pm - 8.30pm
Fridays: Hucknall Leisure Centre 8pm - 9pm
Saturdays: Southglade Leisure Centre 12pm - 1.30pm

HUCKNALL SESSIONS OVER THE WINTER

The powers that be at Ashfield District Council have listened to the plight of the skateboarder and have allowed Nise to run 2 sessions inside Hucknall Leisure Centre. Each Tuesday 5pm - 6pm (Starting Dec 6th) and have allowed our Friday sessions to also continue between 8pm - 9pm.

What can we say, its cold its wet and we need somewhere to skate! Solution: We have hired the Harvey Hadden Indoor Sports Hall and as of November 17th will be filling it with lots of stuff to shred. ENJOY!

New Board Hype!

Given that the festive season is nearly upon us, Nise HQ thought the world deserved a present. We have a new board dropping in Mid November just in time to fill all those board sized stockings!

HALF TERM BRILLIANCE!

Nise have just completed our latest half term skateboard camp, and what a great success it was. We would like to give a massive thank you to all the young ones that took part and also all the parents who decided to try their feet at skateboarding also!

OCTOBER HALF TERM SKATE CAMP!

Folks the half term break is almost upon us, if you feel you would benefit from spending the week skating indoors on a indoor skate park free from any ASBO clad hassle, and British weather, or maybe you just want to learn the basics of the greatest thing in the world, then get involved.

We will be at the Harvey Hadden Sports Complex between 10am - 3.30pm from October 24th - October 26th!

Kirky Skate Comp - Scotland

Nise went up North to Visit Socks and sponsor a comp being held by KSI. However  Nise being Nise Richie Mann, and Socks decided to enter and ended up winning the comp and some cash.

Richie Mann - 1st bagged £200, and Socks - Second, bagged £150, T - Bag - 3rd also bagged himself £50.  Well done boys!

Kirky Skate Comp - Scotland

Nise will be supporting kirkintilloch Skate comp in Scotland this weekend, so all skate schools are cancelled until next week, keep up to date with our Scottish antics and watch this space!

All will be back to normal as of Tuesday

Right then all the yute dem! Nise Skateboards are putting on 2 skate Jams to try and steer the young one's  away from any anti social behaviour. Harvey Hadden Sports Complex 4 - 6pm tomorrow and also Clifton Leisure Centre 7 - 9 tomorrow will be seeing some of the team along with our mobile park. So if your in either area and want to get your skate on, get involved!

Hucknall Skate Jam - Park Fest 2011

Right then, Hucknall plaza is running 2 weeks behind schedule. However the good ship nise have agreed to take care of this with an interim solution. We will be taking our mobile park to Titchfield park between 1 - 4pm. So if your in Hucknall tomorrow - 08th August, come to park fest and get involved1

RAD News Nottingham!

Skaters of the East Midlands can rejoice in the fact that within 2 weeks 2 new Plazas will be added to Nottinghams arsenal of skate parks. Both Hucknall Plaza and also Clifton Plaza are nearing completion, so await a sudden influx of Jams!

Summer Skate Camp Hype!

Week one of summer camp went amazingly, so stoked on the amount of young one's that got enthused by skateboarding. Roll on next camp!

Hucknall Plaza Final Update

After what seems like an epoch, the chaps at Freestyle have begun! Freestyle sent the final updated park plans over to nise this morning so that all skaters can see the final version. They are on site today and hopefully weather pending the below image will be ready to skate in just over  weeks.

Summer skate camps!

Nise are at it again, offering something a little different this summer. If you like to skate or would like to learn, take a sneak peek at the flyer below. We are working alongside Nottingham Police and Nottingham City Council to offer week long camps!

Thank you Mr Police Man

Thanks to Nottingham Police, our skate schools are now able to offer a fully functional £20k mobile street course courtesy of tribe mobile skate parks. Along side this our camps this summer will also be offering the young ones to not only develop their street skills but also the necessary techniques to tackle what can be found in skate parks throughout the UK.

Socks - good lad, came first over the weekend at war of thistles in Dumbarton - Scotland! Nise salutes you sir and will certainly be raising a glass of bru in clebration.

Hucknall Plaza Update!

Easter Skateboard Camp

Nise is working alongside Nottingham City Council to deliver one of our skateboard camps this Easter. Held at Harvey Hadden Sports Complex between 26th - 28th of April 10am until 3pm, this camp is aimed at children and young people wanting to learn to skateboard between the ages of 6 - 16.

School Update!

All schools are back on this week as usual. The only exception is that our Hucknall school will run slightly later, it will now be running from 8pm - 9pm, so that we can take advantage a larger space.

Skateboarding in your Curriculum - Very Nise

Nise is stoked to announce we have successfully secured our first Secondary School Contract. As from March 7th children between the ages of 11 - 16, who attend various schools across the Nottinghamshire area will be offered the opportunity to take part in skateboarding lessons within their school environment. > NISE.

Friday night sessions are now booked in @ Hucknall leisure centre: start this Friday between 6-7 get involved, get nise!

Southglade Skate School Update!

After almost a whole month we have finally been able to re-open our Southglade Skate School.However for this week only times are a little different: 1.30pm - 3.pm.

Hopefully this message will help avoid any dissapointment!

Skate schools are back!

This message is for all that attend any of the nise skateboard schools in the Nottingham area! After a nise festive break we are pleased to announce that as from January 8th all schools will be back on as normal! Unfortunately this only appeals to our Clifton school as Southglade is having a new floor laid and will be back on the 22nd January
